A Few Others:
If you haven’t tried listening to podcasts before, give it a shot. You don’t need an mp3 player to get in on the action- you can also download the podcasts as mp3s and burn them to CD.
Any others you all like?
I am not really into any of the topics you have listed, but do you know of any podcast search tools you could recommend?
Try Podcast.net, Yahoo! podcast directory and NPR podcast directory.
When you find an interesting podcast, check to see when the last episode was released. A lot of the podcasts you can find on the directory sites are outdated and no longer being produced.
I’ve heard really good things about RadioLab, but haven’t had the time yet to check it out myself.
Hey keith, I assume you know about Chinesepod right? sometimes the hosts are complete tools, but the advanced lessons are pretty good. I used them a lot last year when I was walking to and from school.
Hi Jon, I have seen Chinesepod, and downloaded some of their podcasts. It’s a pretty cool site, and I would love to listen to it more regularly. Unfortunately however with a full semester of classes it is tough to find time to study Chinese. Ah well.. Hopefully I will have more time in the future
